Creekside Kids Volunteer Update

NAMETAGS
Nametags are HERE! Well, they've been here... somewhat, sometimes, not consistently. As of this past Sunday, we have a NEW nametag system that is not managed by me, so it should be more consistent! Yay Erin (the Kids Admin Assistant)!!
Every room on Sunday will have a basket. Baskets will have the room's walkie talkie(s), nametags, a report of who is scheduled for the Sunday, and an info sheet.
First Service:
- Grab the basket after checking yourself into the kiosk.
- Baskets will be on the Kids Check In Desk.
- Leave your nametags in the basket at the end of the service.
Second Service:
- Check in at the kiosk.
- Go to your classroom and find the basket for your nametag.
- Return nametags and walkie talkies to the baskets at the end of service.
- Return basket to the Kids Check In Desk.
Erin will be making sure all volunteers have a nametag in the basket and that the reports for the Sunday are up-to-date (at least to the schedule as it is on Wednesday afternoon).
The feedback from the first team was pure joy that everyone actually had a printed nametag!!
SERVICE OPENINGS
These are the needs we have in service spots for the next THREE Sundays.
Some of you have already been taking on quite a few subbing spots -- THANK YOU!! Some of you can't -- thanks for blocking out the dates.
I have a list of people to ask to serve on the teams regularly (they are getting an email tomorrow).
But if you can SUB in one of these spots/rooms, please let me know ASAP!! Last year, we were down to the wire on filling the spots on the 4th of July weekend and almost had to cancel the nursery and preschool room. Please let me know if you can prevent that from happening! Respond via email or sign up through the app, if you are able (not every one is able to sign up for all of the teams).

Out of Town
I am out of town on Sunday, June 28th and Sunday, July 5th. We are visiting my family in Pennsylvania. This will be the first time in about 8 years that I think my parents, their kids, and their families will all be together. It should be interesting, to say the least! So if I don't respond quickly, please know that I will respond!
Kayla Gehrke, Elise Manolas, and Courtney Sanderlin will be available on Sunday mornings to help guide you through any issues!!
Curriculum
We should have the curriculum for July available on July 5th. Teachers will have copies in the classroom binders and at the Kids Check In Desk.
VBS Cafe Drawing
VBS volunteers that completed the evaluation were entered into a drawing for a free Cafe drink!
And the winner is... Patricia Friedhoff!!
