Creekside Kids VBS Follow Up
June 8, 2026
Hello @first-name,
How was your weekend? Did you sleep so well after all of the hype of VBS week?
Thank you!!
We did it! Let there be no confusion, we pulled VBS off. It doesn't happen without the church stepping in as servants. Thank you!!
Numbers
Numbers are not the sole measure in success of VBS, but they can be exciting!!
- We had 119 different kids attend our VBS (birth-5th grade). Of those kids, most had attended a Sunday Kids program at Creekside before, but not all of the kids. For a handful, this was the first time they had been checked into a Creekside Kids program.
In 2017, we had 28 kids check in to VBS. In 2025, we had 105 check in.
Last year, our highest attendance in a single night was 95 in one night. This year, we had 114 check in on one night. - We had 68 volunteers (adults and youth) show up to pull off VBS week! And that doesn't include all who donated materials and time outside of the evenings we had VBS scheduled.
- Our estimate is that 200ish people were here for our first Family Night.
- More were at the Carnival! Rhonda made 300 bags of cotton candy at the Carnival!
- We handed out a few Bibles to kids who did not have their own at home.
Feedback
Please send me your feedback of VBS week! Regardless of where you served, please let me know your thoughts on the week!! I have already fielded a bit of feedback and I want to extend the opportunity to every person involved.
There will be a drawing for a free Cafe drink for those that complete this survey by Monday of next week (6/15).
Please reach out if you have questions, comments, or concerns!
Blessings! Elisabeth Jacobson
