Upcoming Sermon
What do you turn to when life feels heavy? This Sunday, we’re finishing our PROVEN series through the book of James with a message called “Proven Through Prayerful Dependence.” Because underneath so many of our struggles—fear, stress, striving, waiting, control, anxiety—is a deeper question of dependence.
What are we really trusting in? James reminds us that genuine faith isn’t self-sufficient. It’s prayerful. It’s surrendered. It’s learning to trust God not only in suffering, but in every season of life.
When life feels uncertain…do we carry it alone? When answers feel delayed…do we still trust Him? When we struggle…are we willing to invite others in and bring our burdens before God honestly?
The good news? God never asks us to carry life on our own. He draws near to dependent people with grace, strength, wisdom, healing, and hope.
Join us this Sunday as we discover what it looks like to live prayerfully dependent on God in every season of life.
Coming Up At Creekside
PRAYER BRACELET SWAP
As we prepare for our Weekend of Prayer and Response at the end of the month, we want to begin by praying intentionally for one another. This Sunday, if you don't get a bracelet during the service, stop by the table at the back of the auditorium. Grab a bracelet, write your name on it, place it in the basket, and take a different bracelet to wear as a reminder to pray for that person over the next two weeks.
WEEKEND OF PRAYER AND RESPONSE
As disciples of Christ, we are called to be people of prayer. On Saturday, May 30th, we’ll be hosting a 12-hour day of prayer, and we’d love for everyone to participate! If you’re able, sign up for a 30-minute time slot in the lobby. Not sure what to pray for? Don’t worry—we’ll have guided prayer stations available to help encourage and equip you as we pray together and build one another up in Christ.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL AND CARNIVAL
There’s still time to register! This year, our theme is Rocky Railway - Jesus' Power Pulls Us Through! For VBS, kids can expect games, music, arts and crafts, Bible stories, scripture, and more. We end our VBS with a Family Carnival complete with games, prizes, food, and fun stuff like bouncy houses! Please register your kids for the VBS drop off days on June 1st & 2nd.

"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." Hebrews 10:23-25
We can't wait to see you Sunday!
