What does it really mean to surrender to God?
This Sunday is Respond—a time to slow down, worship together, and respond to who God is and what He has done.
Through Scripture, music, singing, and prayer, we'll explore what it means to Respond Through Surrender. We'll see that surrender begins with seeing God rightly, grows from trusting His character, and doesn't require us to pretend that surrender is easy—or that what we're carrying doesn't hurt.
Because surrender isn't trusting God because we know what He will do. It's entrusting ourselves to God because we know who He is.
What are you holding tightly today? A plan? A relationship? A fear? An outcome you desperately want?
Join us this Sunday as we create space to bring those things honestly before God and respond to His grace with trust, worship, and surrender.
Coming Up At Creekside
Our 12 Hours of Prayer event scheduled for Saturday has been canceled, but we still want to encourage you to set aside time to seek the Lord in prayer wherever you are. If you were looking forward to walking through the guided prayer stations, we've made the prompts available so you can use them at home—individually or with your family. Respond Sunday will continue as planned, as we gather together to worship, pray, and respond to what God is doing in our lives and our community. We look forward to worshiping with you Sunday!
WUTV SEPTEMBER FOCUS: WINTER GEAR
Warm Up the Valley will be here before we know it, and we’re getting ready to serve our community together! Throughout September, we’re collecting new or gently used winter gear to help our neighbors stay warm this winter. Bring coats, winter boots, hats, gloves, and other cold-weather accessories and drop them in the collection bins located in the Family Entrance and The Breezeway. Cafe Training
Wednesday, September 9th at 6:00pm
Interested in serving in the Creekside Café? Join us for a relaxed, one-on-one training session where you can practice making drinks, learn the Square register, and get comfortable with our equipment—without the rush of a Sunday morning! Whether you’re brand new or already have café experience, we’ll help you feel prepared and confident before you serve. Training on our equipment is required for all new Café volunteers, and you’re welcome to sign up for as many sessions as you need.

Tuesday Evening Ladies Bible Study - Ephesians
Begins Tuesday, September 1st, 6:30pm
Tuesday nights are a wonderful time to slow down, gather together, and spend time in God’s Word. Join Nancy Munson for a 9-week study through Ephesians using Ephesians: How Jesus Creates a New People in a New World by Brad Watson. We begin September 1st at 6:30 PM in the Café. It’s time for the 2nd Annual Missional Community Games! Gather your family and join us for a day of fun, laughter, hot dogs, and a little friendly competition.
