Upcoming Sermon
What do steadfast believers need when suffering leaves them discouraged, distracted, or vulnerable?
This Sunday, we’ll finish up 1 Peter with a message called “The Shepherd, the Flock, and the Lion” (1 Peter 5:1–14). Peter reminds us that we were never meant to stand alone.
We need faithful shepherds who care for God’s people. We need humility that rests beneath God’s mighty hand. We need spiritual alertness because the enemy is real. And we need the church because isolation makes us vulnerable.
So what burden are you carrying as though everything depends on you? Where have fear, exhaustion, or discouragement begun to shape the way you see God? And where might the enemy be trying to pull you away from the Shepherd and from His people?
The good news?
The roar may be loud, but it is not the final voice. Jesus is still the Chief Shepherd. He sees His flock, cares for His people, and promises to restore, establish, strengthen, and support those who stand firm in Him.
Join us this Sunday as we learn what it means to humble ourselves under God, remain alert to the enemy, and stand firm together in the faith.
A note from the spiritual leadership team...
The Spiritual Leadership Team would like to ask everyone to remember to pray for Pastor Mike during his planned 30-day sabbatical. Please pray that he would find this time restful and renewing. We ask that during this time, those with Mike’s personal contact information give him space and allow him to rest. Please contact the church office with any pastoral needs.
