What shapes the way you live when following Jesus becomes difficult?
This Sunday, we’ll continue our series through 1 Peter with a message called “Steadfast Resolve” (1 Peter 4:1–19). Peter reminds us that faithfulness begins long before the pressure comes—it begins with a mind shaped by Jesus.
When comfort competes with obedience, when approval pulls us toward compromise, or when suffering makes us question everything, Peter calls us to remember who we belong to.
Because our identity is secure in Jesus, we are free to leave our old life behind, strengthen His church, and entrust the outcome of our lives to our faithful Creator.
So what part of your past are you still allowing to define you? Where is God inviting you to stop protecting yourself and begin serving others? And what outcome do you need to place back into His hands?
The good news?
We do not have to control every outcome or understand every hardship. Jesus has already secured our identity and future. Our calling is simply to remain faithful and keep doing the next good thing.
Join us this Sunday as we discover what it means to live with steadfast resolve.

Salvation Fun Day
July 22, 2026, 1:00pm - 6:00pm
Get ready for one of the craziest youth events of the summer! Meet at the church on July 22nd at 1:00 PM as we head out to the thrift stores to secretly pick out hilarious outfits for each other. Then we’ll show off our new looks at the Extreme Fun Center! Bring spending money for your thrift store find, $20 for the Fun Center, and plan to be picked up at the Fun Center at 6:00 PM.
High School Adventure Camp
July 28-30, 2026
High school students, get ready for an unforgettable Alaska adventure! We’re heading up the Talkeetna River by jet boat for a two-night camping trip during peak salmon season. Spend time fishing, exploring the outdoors, building friendships, and making memories together. July 28th - 30th. Cost is $125 per person.
Kids Explore Baptism

There’s something special about seeing children choose to publicly share their faith in Jesus through baptism. At Creekside, we want every child to understand the meaning of baptism and feel confident sharing their story, so we ask all children to attend our Explore Baptism Kids class before being baptized. This age-appropriate class is designed just for them and is required for all children planning to participate in baptism. The next class will be held on Wednesday, July 22, at 6:30 PM.
Explore Creekside Kids
July 26, 2026, 12:30 PM
Come learn what it means to be a volunteer for Creekside Kids! We will review the responsibilities of being an adult helper in a classroom, the protection policy, have time to begin the application, and ask questions! Sunday, July 26th after 2nd service. Meet in the Kids Chapel. Please register. A light lunch will be provided.
Explore Baptism
August 3, 2026, 6:00 PM
If you are considering being baptized, we ask that you attend this class beforehand. Explore Baptism will help you understand the biblical foundation of baptism and guide you in forming and sharing your personal testimony. All are welcome.
Baptism Sunday usually takes place 2 to 3 Sundays after the Explore Baptism Class.
FUSION (Middle & High School)
August 5-7, 2026
Get ready for an incredible few days at FUSION! Middle school students (completed 6th grade) and high school students are invited to join us as we head to Mountain City Church in Anchorage for an unforgettable conference filled with powerful worship, biblical teaching, great friendships, and plenty of fun.
The cost is $150 per student. We'll meet at Creekside at 3:30 PM on Wednesday, August 5, and travel to Anchorage together. Food trucks will be available when we arrive, so be sure to bring money for dinner.

Senior Fellowship
Each week, the senior adults of Creekside gather downstairs in the conference room for fellowship and connection. If you’re a senior adult at Creekside, we invite you to join us every Thursday at 10:00 AM. We’d love to see you there!
