Peter reminds us that because Christ has made us His people, we're called to live differently—not by withdrawing from the world, but by faithfully representing Him in the middle of it. As we grow in God's Word, remember who we are in Christ, and pursue lives marked by holiness and love, our lives begin to point others to the greatness of God. The good news? We don't become God's people by trying harder—we live differently because Jesus has already made us His own.
